Lecture series "Academia and In/Equality"

Summer term 2024

The course "Academia and In/Equality" addresses inequalities in science with a special focus on astronomy, geosciences and geography. The course is designed as a lecture series and consists of a combination of public lectures and exercise units. The lectures will be held partly in German and partly in English.


The exercise units are only accessible to students who have registered for the course via u:space within the registration period.

The following lectures are open to the public and will be streamed online; for registration for online participation fill out the following form (link will be provided via e-mail).



General information

  • Registration for the public online streaming of the lectures is possible for all interested parties - please register for the respective lecture using the registration form (registration starts in March).
  • Students please note: Please register via u:space for credit transfer and proof of achievement as part of your studies (please note the registration period!) No registration is required to attend the public lectures (without proof of achievment); for online participation, please register with the respective lecture.
