The FFG call for proposals "Energy Research 2026" funds cooperative R&D projects with a minimum of €100,000 and a maximum of €2 million for a maximum of 36 months within the following research areas:
- Energy generation and storage technologies, efficiency improvements, and digitalization
- Hydrogen, renewable gases, and Carbon Capture, Utilization, and Storage (CCUS)
- System design and operation of flexible, integrated, and climate-resilient energy systems
- Societal transformation (acceptance and participation)
Submission Deadline 30 September 2026
