Grant for the development and construction of protypes by universities and FHs

The aim of the aws Prototype funding is to significantly increase the economic commercialisation using ideas from scientific research by demonstrating technical feasibility or functionality.

Small Prototype funding

• The project period is 6-8 months
• The funding amounts to 75% of eligible costs, max. EUR 10,000
• The minimum project size is EUR 10,000 

Large Prototype funding

The project period is 12-14 months

The funding amounts to 75% of eligible costs, max. EUR 50,000

The minimum project size is EUR 50,000

Deadlines: 

01.03.2022 inform TTO about the intention to apply techtransfer@univie.ac.at 

01.04.2022 12:00, Submission via the aws Fördermanger portal by the researcher

Submission: Every application must be checked by the research service/TTO and approved by the rectorate before it is submitted to aws. The approval is also obtained by the research service/TTO.
