This is an erratum of the paper ‘Photoionization analysis of chemodynamical dwarf galaxies simulations’, which was published in MNRAS, 450, 111–127 (2015) (Melekh et al. 2015, hereafter Paper I). The following errors and inaccuracies were found during debugging of code DIFFRAY: (i) An inaccuracy in the assumed geometry during the calculation of spectra using DIFFRAY code for various aperture positions (APs) was spotted. In our published paper, the calculation of emission line spectra for various APs was performed using the “sliced apple” geometry. Each sector was a wedge with symmetry axis perpendicular to the z-axis. This is incorrect. In the present version all calculations have been performed in the cylindrical (conical) axisymmetric geometry: each sector represents the volume between two cones in 3D, and all such cones have common z-axis. (ii) The location of the APs used in code DIFFRAY indicated in the paper were slightly different compared to the ones which have been used to produce fig. 7 in the paper. Now they are positioned exactly as in fig. 7 in Paper I. (iii) Some density inhomogeneities as well as the dilution factor for radiation were treated in DIFFRAY code incorrectly. We fixed all these problems. In particular: a) an adaptive integration step was introduced, wich allowed to treat all inhomogeneities more correctly; b) the calculation of the dilution factor was improved and made more accurate. These inaccuracies mainly affected the results of sections 5.3 and 5.4 of the paper. Also fig. 12 in section 5.5 and fig. 13 in section 6 turn out to be inaccurate because of erroneous assumptions in the geometry of the problem. We present in this Erratum the corrected results. We list below the incorrect results in Paper I and the new, correct data and plots. (i) Dependencies in Fig. 8. In Paper I we used the maximal and minimal values from this figure to define the range of intensity ratios to select the observed galaxies to compare with models. This figure was inaccurate and the right results are presented in Fig. 8. In this figure the range mentioned above (between 2.7 and 3.15) is slightly smaller than the one adopted in the paper (between 2.6 and 3.2). We have decided to use the same range in the current analysis because of the small difference (within 4 per cent) between those ranges.
