PC-Rietveld plus, a comprehensive Rietveld analysis package for PC

Abstrakt

PC-Rietveld plus is a package for Rietveld refinement, data evaluation and graphical representation of powder patterns and crystal structures. The Rietveld kernel is capable of refining 10 crystal phases simultanousely, with 96 atoms, 256 variable parameters, 8000 reflections, and 16384 data points. In addition, it can be used for standardless quantitative analysis and for crystallite size and strain analysis. The program is implemented in an environment of utility programs for the graphical representation for powder diagrams and crystal structures, and for the representation and evaluation of refienement results. The mouse driven user interface is guiding through Rietveld analysis with automatic administration of refinement codewords, with default values, and with many help options. The pacage runs on PC's with MS-DOS operationg system, 80486 processors (or 80336 with coprocessor), VGA graphics, 4-8 MB RAM, and mouse.
