StartClim sees itself as a programme that helps to start new initiatives. It supports innovative projects that address current issues with regard to climate change and the Sustainable Development Goals. Research groups that focus on the impacts of climate change and young researchers who want to gain initial experience in climate research are also eligible to apply in StartClim.
Eligible for application are Austrian scientists and Austrian (scientific) institutions. The application language is German.
