Research platforms

Research platforms bring together researchers from multiple faculties or centers for joint interdisciplinary research and the preparation of third-party funding applications. Research platforms are established by the Rectorate following a call for proposals based on international peer review for a period of four years. After an evaluation, a one-time extension of up to two years is possible.

If you want to submit a proposal, please seek permission in the first step by your SEL, and in the second step by the faculty by sending an e-mail to forschung.fgga@univie.ac.at / Cc dekanat.fgga@univie.ac.at. This is in particular due to infrastructure / room issues.
