Scientific Advisory Board

The Scientific Advisory Board supports the Dean and vice-deans and the Faculty in strategic planning. It reports to the Dean, the vice-deans and the Rectorate concerning the development and performance of the Faculty.

The Faculty mourns the loss of a long-time member of the Faculty's Scientific Advisory Board: Johannes Andersen passed away on April 28, 2020. The Danish astronomer worked at the Copenhagen University until his retirement; from 1997 to 2000 he was General secretary of the International Astronomical Union (IAU).
