Abstract

The MOST (Microvariability and Oscillation of STars) satellite mission has observed more than 1100 stars during its first 5 years of operation. While the primary application was to probe bright (0-6 mag) solar type stars and red giants for p mode oscillations, other main targets were roAp stars, planet hosting stars including known transiting systems, pulsating Pre-Main-Sequence (PMS) stars and also Wolf-Rayet objects. In addition, photometric data from about 120 O and B stars have also been obtained. The majority of those as secondary targets (stars near primary targets), in the so-called 'Guide Star Photometry' mode. This led to the discovery of numerous SPB, pulsating Be (SPBe), pulsating B super giants (SPBsg), spotted stars with rotational light modulation and eclipsing binaries. More recently O and B stars in young clusters have been observed with MOST.
