- Abstract
A new form of L-histidinium 5-nitrouracilate has been obtained. It crystallizes in the triclinic space group P1, with two formula units in the unit cell, as opposed to the previously reported monoclinic polymorph. The 5-nitrouracilate anions form a dimer linked with double NeH/O type hydrogen bonds. The infrared and Raman spectra of the new triclinic and previously obtained monoclinic forms have been registered and discussed.
