- Abstract
The COROT (Convection, Rotation and Planetary Transits) concept can be used to efficiently search for extrasolar planets by observing the faible steller luminosity decrease during the transit of a planet in front of the parent star. The COROT concept was derived from the EVRIS experiment for the MARS mission and can be used simultaneously on asteroseismology and the detection of extrasolar planets.
