Abstract

Recent field work at the classical locality Steinebrunn yielded new informations concerning the occurrence of bryozoans. By careful and detailed studies including old collections kept at different museums, we try to compare this locality with those bryozoan localities situated in the Czech part of the Vienna Basin. The bryozoan fauna of Steinbrunn is rather similar to material from Hlohovec, but differs in respect to cyclostomatous bryozoa: they are verey rare at Steinebrunn, but rather common at Hlohovec.
