- Abstract
A single crystal x-ray structure study of hydrothermally synthesized K4Cu3[AsO4]2[AsO3(OH)]2 proved space group P21/c symmetry (a 9.498(3), b 9.992(3), c 9.630(3) .ANG., beta 118.27(2)°, Z = 2; R = 0.031, Rw = 0.021 for 2613 reflections with Fo>3sigma(Fo)). At. coordinates are given. Cu[4] and Cu[4+1] atoms are connected via O atom corners to triple groups which are interconnected by arsenate tetrahedra to yield a two-dimensional arrangement. These layers are linked by the K atoms and by a short, but sym. not restricted H bond: O-H×××O = 2.479(3) .ANG..
