- Abstract
Austrian Neogene basins with marine Karpatian-Badenian sedimentation are situated around the Alpine-Carpathian junction: Styrian Basin, Vienna Basin and Alpine-Carpathian Foredeep north of the Danube. A series of transgression and regression cycles mark the Lower/Middle Miocene, Karpatian/Badenian boundary and the Lower Badenian sedimentation.....
