- Abstract
The new polymorph Cu3Fe2(SeO3)6-II was obtained at low hydrothermal conditions as a subordinate coppt. of Cu3Fe2(SeO3)6-I. The crystal structure was detd. by direct methods from single-crystal x-ray diffraction data in the space group P21/n: Z = 2, a 5.362(1), b 18.840(4), c 7.612(2) .ANG., beta 92.72(1)° and refined to R1 = 0.029. The crystal structure of Cu3Fe2(SeO3)6-II is built up by CuO4 squares, dimers of edge-sharing CuO5 trigonal bipyramids and FeO6 octahedra, corner-linked with three different SeO3 groups to a framework.
