The new call for project submissions in ASEA-UNINET has been opened.

Funding is available for small-scale bi- or multilateral research, training, and networking projects in collaboration with scholars at ASEA-UNINET partner universities (Southeast Asia), with a minimum funding amount of 5.000 €.

The implementation period can be either one year (October 1, 2025 – September 30, 2026) or two years (until September 30, 2027).

Please refer to the attached application information. Applications must be submitted online in the OeAD database (if necessary, please enter the following address into your browser: https://asp.sop.co.at/stipendium/antrag?call=2025_ASEA)

Applications must be submitted by the Austrian project partner. According to the formal criteria professors or habilitated scientists are eligible to apply. All other applicants are required to submit a letter of recommendation from a professor within their organisational unit.  Additionally, all applicants must demonstrate institutional support by submitting a Letter of Endorsement (OeAD template) signed at Faculty Level.

The application deadline is April 24, 2025 at noon CET.
