The DLE Research Services and Career Development (FSNF) is organising an information workshop on ERC Advanced Grant (AdG) on April 9, 2025 from 15:00 to 17:00.
The ERC AdG scheme is aimed at active established researchers who have a track record of significant achievements in the last 10 years. It funds projects of up to 5 years with 2.5 million EUR (in certain cases additional budget can be applied for). The programme is open to all disciplines and supports individual Principal Investigators and their teams.
The 2025 ERC AdG call will open end of May 2025 with a deadline on 28 August 2025. Further information can be found here: Advanced Grant | ERC (europa.eu)

We would like to invite interested applicants – especially those planning to submit an application this year – to join our ERC AdG Information Workshop Session.
The event will take place in person in English in our SE Room 1 (in the courtyard) in Berggasse 7, 1090 Vienna.
FSNF will introduce the programme and application process. Two invited speakers will share insights and experiences as successful applicants:
- Prof. Margareth Lanzinger (Faculty of Historical and Cultural Studies) and
- Prof. Christa Schleper (Faculty of Life Sciences).
The event will take place at 1090, Berggasse 7 (SE1, courtyard) on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, from 15:00 - 17:00.
Due to the room capacity, the number of participants is limited to 20 and registration is on a first come first serve basis, with a waiting list.
