Abstract

The crystal structure of cobalt(III) complex, (I) of the ligand 3,5-dimethyl-1H-pyrazole-1-thiocarboxamide was studied. The two independent molecules possesses similar bond distances and angles around the metal atom, indicating a similar overall shape of the two coordination polyhdera. The presence of both hydrogen-bond donors and acceptors made the molecule suitable for the formation of an extended three-dimensional structure.
