The ERC information workshop will take place online (in English) on Wednesday, 28th June from 15:00 to 17:00. The workshop will focus on both Starting (StG) and Consolidator (CoG) Grant funding schemes.
The ERC StG scheme (max. budget 1,5 M EUR/ 5 years) aims to support promising early career researchers, 2-7 years post PhD who already have an excellent track record and important publications.
The ERC CoG scheme (max. 2 M EUR/ 5 years) is open to excellent researchers 7-12 years post PhD who can already demonstrate independent research work and leadership, in addition to important publications.
The next tentative call deadlines are 24th October 2023 for the ERC StG 2024 (call opens mid-July 2023), and 12th December 2023 for the ERC CoG 2024 (call opens mid-September 2023). The ERC Programme is open to all scientific disciplines as well as to all subject areas (bottom up).
The Work programme 2024 will bring a number of changes, such as evaluation priorities and new re-submission rules. Besides general information on the schemes, the workshop will focus on these novelties with presentations from invited speakers from the Austrian National Contact Point FFG.
