Since the end of last year, the University of Vienna has been a full member of the Circle U. Alliance, an association of like-minded universities in Europe. This connection is intended to support the strategic goals of the University of Vienna - and at the same time, as a member we support the initiatives of the Alliance. The current Circle U. Seed Funding Call offers both students and university staff the opportunity to obtain funding for their projects.
Do you have an innovative project in mind involving students, researchers or administrative staff from at least three Circle U. universities? The Circle U. Seed Funding Call 2024 is your chance to bring innovative ideas to life and strengthen our international academic community.
This call supports projects across Circle U. institutions, fostering new collaborations and bottom-up initiatives. The goal is to kickstart projects that align with Circle U.’s mission, paving the way for long-term partnerships.
- Budget allocated to academic and research projects: EUR 90.000 / Up to EUR 10.000 per project
Eligibility: The 2024 call for applications is open to academic and research staff from all disciplines and levels working at any Circle U. member universities, to administrative/professional staff as well as to students working or being enrolled at any Circle U. member universities.
